I gather we appeared on Torrent yesterday, the Canadian G4 tech TV series hosted by Amber MacArthur. (Gosh, wasn’t it great when we had a channel like that in the US?).
We knew we were going to appear, but weren’t sure when. The last few months have had more than our share of ups and downs, but we have a couple things in production, due out very soon, and I’ve got a brand-spanking new Macbook just itching to edit some video!

Comment by Richard Dumoulin 06.04.06 @ 6:07 pmIt was made by Digital Concepts, but, I’ll tell you straight up: That particular tripod was junk and I threw it away while overseas.
It used a telescoping leg section that you’d pull out, then turn slightly to prevent it from collapsing. The problem was that it became rapidly difficult to open or close the legs when you wanted to, and they’d close when you didn’t want them to.
You never want a tripod to collapse with your camera on it, that could mean the end of an expensive camera, so it got the big garbage can.
I’d have hung onto it and complained to the manufacturer, but I didn’t want to haul it back to the US.
